Dr. Kristie Norwood from Norwood Hampton University was interviewed by our founder, Rory Rubin, about the wellness pods that S.I. Container Builds built and installed at the college in 2024. S.I. built and placed a 40’ and a 20' container for students to use as a mental health respite.

"It's been going fantastic, seeing students utilize the space is more that we thought it would be.

We have milestone reports and one of the things we saw is that 60% of the students who utilized the wellness pods were not engaged at the college counseling center. These pods are an extension of the counseling center and are meeting a need.

I have to share that in the building and the construction absolutely created something that is like a physical home. Visiting high school students had heard about the pods and wanted to see them.
